Recently I took a small group of my photography students from Dan’s Camera City’s Shoot 2 Learn classes to check out the new Hoover Mason Trestle in Bethlehem, PA at the Steelstacks. The walkway takes you high off the ground and close up to a vital piece of American history, allowing for some great photo opportunities. I planned the trip to start just before sunset to give plenty of opportunity for some amazing architectural images. But the real magic happens at dusk when the lights on the steel stacks come on and illuminate the massive structure. Bring your tripod, you won’t want to miss the amazing light at the blue hour. Here are a couple of my images from the outing.
